Hey guys,

One of my friends received his and his family\'s I485
approval this afternoon.

I\'m posting this message on his behalf. Here is his
message.

Hara Pata, thanks for sharing the info. I am really glad that things are starting to move forward. We all should get our approvals withing the next 2 to 3 months time frame.

Just forgot to mention, the last time he called,
that was in May, he was told that his case was on
HOLD.

Looks like, the HOLD goes off after the amended I140
is approved.

The is definitely a good news for all of us in
IGate!

Mine 140 is not approved but my case is not on hold. My assumption is that as soon your application is linked they remove the hold.

Hara Pata why are you posting on behalf of friend ? He seems to be a passive user, so why not create an ID and post ?

I spoke with the IIO on 5/18. I was told that my
case is PENDING. She asked me to call them back
after 3 months if I do not hear from them.

My Amd I140 is not approved yet. RD 4/12 ND 4/26.

I thought of doing that. The problem is that
if I log out of my ID, I would never be able to
log back in as Hara Pata again.

According to my estimation, your approval should have been 5/25 for the amended I-140 and GC 5/29 !!!

Friends, my friend got his 485 approval notice today. His amended I-140 was filed in the first batch and got his amended I-140 approved on June 11th. Received his I-485 courtesy copy in the mail today. So things are moving forward and we all will post our approvals within the next 2-3 months time. Just hang on.....

Did your friend get his original copy from the
attorney? Normally, this come much before you
receive the courtesy copy.

No. Last time I talked to him was on Saturday (6/16) and he did not receive the original from the attorney. He mentioned that he will be going on a vacation for the next one week or so to enjoy this great moment with his family. I will give him a call today and see whether he received the original copy or not and I will keep you posted.
