My package was received at the NBC on June 29, 07. I have Fedex receipt to prove it. However, my receipts indicate that the receipt date is July 2, 07. And so, I'm adding my information to this list.

Hi seeklabor,

I meant that TSC is stuck with processing cases after June 30th (as per receipting update of 08/24/07) which means that they are processing cases after June 30th and that would be July 2nd (next working day after June 30th).

Only way you can predict that your case might get transfer to TSC before receipt is based on your I140 pending / approval location. If it is pending / approved at TSC / VSC, it has a good chance that it will be transferred to TSC. Also some times it is transferred based on your / your employer's geographical location. But it is USCIS, you can not be 100% sure!

Reached on July 2nd

Our application was sent to TSC on July 2nd and we recieved the recipts and EAD card on Aug 25th. Also, today our lawyers received a letter from USCIS for fingerprinting. Our priority date was 5th Oct,2005 and EB2 category.

Is there a way to know if the case is transferred from NSC to TSC before getting the receipt?

I am kind of frustrated now as my according to my lawyer, in our company one guy's receipt came, but that was applied little before than me and was routed thru' CSC!, is it possible if not sent wrongly to CSC...?

and also saying that without cashing checks getting receipt no may happend...? is it true...?
I would appreciate if any guru guys answer that....

my lawyer sent me a tracking no today when asked them, but how do I know that it is related to my application....?

You may get receipt before getting checks cashed. It has happened to very few people in different forums (july filers).

I do not know anyway of confirming that tracking number of FedEx or UPS given by lawyer belongs to your application.
 
AP approved

Yesterday there was a LUD(8/30/2007) on AP application with status changed to Application approved. This morning there was one more LUD(8/31/2007) stating Approval Notice sent. My AP is approved, I am a little concerned as to why my wife's AP has not been touched yet!

Is there anybody else in the same boat?

Hi marwan234,
You wrote that 3 out of 6 receipts came from CSC,
1) had all 6 sent to NSC on July2nd...?
actually my lawyer is saying that he got one receipt routed thru' CSC, and it was filed just before July2nd (I guess June filer), so I would like to get more info from you guys ....that it is possible to be routed thru' CSC.

2) You got all 6...? (3 from CSC and 3 from probably NSC...?)
3) do you know who received the package
4) You guys all check are cashed....?

08/31/2007: Monthly Service Center Processing Time Report Method Changed

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has improved the reporting procedure for processing times of immigration benefit applications. In the past, USCIS benefit processing reports indicated the specific type of applications or petitions that were being processed and the date the cases were received. However, the date the case was received did not provide a clear indication of when USCIS expected to complete the case, nor did it provide a clear indication of USCIS’ commitment to process cases within a certain cycle time. It also did not align with the processing times and cycle times the agency reports in other contexts. The changed reporting procedure is an effort to give the customers more accurate information that better reflects current processing time and USCIS service level commitments. Effective immediately, when USCIS is completing applications and petitions within the service level goals we will report the USCIS service level commitment. For example, when USCIS service level goal is to process a particular kind of case within six months, and if our processing time is six months or less, the report will show "6 months". When USCIS is not meeting their service level goal, the date posted will reflect the filing date of cases that are being completed. It should be noted that while in some instances reported processing dates may appear to have regressed due to this change, they do not reflect a lengthening of USCIS processing times, but simply the change in reporting.
The processing time goal and each Service Center's processing status for selective employment-based cases as of August 15, 2007 are reported as follows: [Fo the full report including other types of cases, please go to our home page and click the Service Center Processing Times Link. The reporting date has changed from 16th to 15th, indicating that they may report it on the 15th every month.
