If we go to Canada by cruise, do we need advanced Advance Parole? Urgent, please help

My husband and I I485 pending, I-140 approved,both H1B, he is primary applicant. We want to go to cruise, it will go to Canada and then come back, do we need to apply for Advance Parole? Or it’s not necessary since it’s just cruise?

Please help if you know the answer, we have to register ASAP if we can go.

Why do you need AP if you both are on H1B? you have to Canadian Visitor Visa to enter Canada and can come back on H1B

If they have valid H-1Bs, they can travel using those. I travelled extensively when my I-485 was pending, with only my H-1B approval notice. (I would suggest that they should have a valid visa stamp; I am unsure if they can return on the same visa from Canada if travelling by sea.)
