If do not bring a lawyer to MCH, will EAD clock stop?

Material inconsistencies.
Lack of detail.

I do not think they are inconsistencies. AO thought they are inconsistencies.
Could you explain a little about why the AO thought you had inconsistencies? Inconsistencies between your written declarion/affidavits and your oral testimony? Did you correct yourself multiple times over a question?

Did the AO tell you during the interview that were inconsistent?

There are many types of inconsistencies.
(1) Consistency between applicant’s or witness’s written or oral statements.
(2) Internal consistency of each statement.
(3) Consistency of such statements with evidence of record and U.S. State Department Reports.

I did not have (1) (3). AO thought I have (2). She said she was confused, but I thought my logic is OK. Very minor points.

I did not correct myself.

Since asylum officers' approval rates are not published in public, I do not know the AO who interviewed me is good or bad.

EAD has nothing to do w/ Lawyer. It stops when you make any changes to schedule or location

Which office was this? Whats your next step?

I think he has been referred so he wants to know if his clock will stop, maybe he has not decided on getting a lawyer yet. He can go to the MCH without a lawyer. Lol

No EAD no money, no money no lawyer.
I think you will get your EAD by the time you go to MCH because they are scheduled a couple of months after being referred. Just hire a lawyer and pay the deposit money. You can gradually pay the full fee until you go to immigration court. It will be roughly 2 years from now.

I filed in Late November last year.
MCH scheduled this month.

In San Francisco, from Master Hearing to Individual Hearing, it can be as short as 1 month. So, this is a huge problem.
