I715 denied without reason

I had long wait after filed i751, received 1 year extention letter and finally got an letter says that I'm denied and asks to be appear in from the immigration judge. However the date and time is "to be set". It did not state any reason for denied, just says that it was denied. I called and they can't find any info either. However, the immigration officer on the phone did notice the receipt number that I have on my denied letter is different from my origianl i751 appliction and extention letter.

Can someone check if you have the same receipt number all along or they change the receipt number when they issue the final decision? I already made appointment to go in to find out. The only thing that I can think for them to denied me is maybe the income was on the low end or not enough documents.

Its all in the receipt #. I think they have made an error.

I went back to my record and try to see if the receipt numbers are the same w/ each different petition. I was told from the immigration officer that each same case/ petition should be the same receipt number. It looks like that way from my records except the last one.. I'd think that they would conduct a 2nd interview before they deny the petition. In my case, I did not receive any letters in between.

Here is timeline:

11/03 filed AOS
1/04 receipt number, interview date notice; A No.
1/04 Interview date; A No.
2/04 I-131 $110; A No.
11/04 received GC (9/04-9/06) Receipt No 1
6/06 filed I-751 $205; Receipt No.2
9/06 Extention 1 yr letter to 6/07 ; Receipt No 2
3/07 Denied letter, court requested; Receipt No. 3 (this supposed be the same Receipt No as No. 2)

Hey, man. Sorry to hear about your problem.
As far as I know, the receipt number on your denial letter should be the same as on your I-751 application. Maybe thay have messed up something and your denial is a pure mistake.
But I'm sure it will be greatly appreciated if you share details about your application.
Good luck!

i sent what it was required on the form. The documents were on the low side since we don't have much joint accounts.

So, you guys were stil married and got denied?
But, like I said, it must be a mistake since receipt number is different from an original application.
Best of luck to you!

yes, we are still married. the only thing i can think of is that we moved and they might had sent something to the previous address and I did not receive it. However, the extention letter I got was back in 9/06 and received from the new address. So i doubt that's the problem.

Get off your butt and fight USCIS....

I suspect that you got a notice of denial belonging to someone else, and that person got yours by mistake. Mistakes, screw-up, delays and foolishness are synonymous with USCIS.

As such, you can go before the judge and show probable cause for him to order USCIS to review your case based on the fact that your denial letter has a different receipt number than the one which was initially generated by the extension letter which you received from USCIS. For now, you can write to USCIS officer and copy your DO and point out this discrepancy rather than sit down and moan or gripe about this matter on the discussion board. If you are already doing something, then cool.... but that something should include bringing this error to the attention of USCIS. :( Keep copies of the letters which you mail then, and register the letters so that you can be assured it reached their big asses... or rather their mail bag, which is the size of the state of rhode island.:D

When are you supposed to appear before the Almight judge?

I've been calling attorneys and making appointments to see them. Also, reading and learning from others' stories. I'm sending letters to USCIS, G-639, and hoping that this is a mistake and would be able to correct it ASAP without have to hire attorney. I do think it could be someone else's receipt number, but it's my A number. So i'm really confused..
