Hello folks,

Hope everyone's keeping well.

As I'm getting closer to apply for my GC, I have been doing a lot of research and need your help to point where i have gotten it wrong:

- The first step seems to be getting the form i-693 done.

- Then complete form i-485, G325A, and attach them along with i-94, approval notice, 2 passport style photos.

- Mail the package to the USCIS, correct?

I also noticed that there's a fee for this. Does USCIS accept credit card or does it have to be check or MO?

Looking forward to hearing form you guys.

Thanks!

You have provided too little information. What type of immigrant visa is it? Are you in the U.S.? If in the U.S. did you enter legally? How and are you in a valid status now?

Hi BigJoe,

Sorry. I expected to be recognized by my earlier posts :(. I had my i589 approved last year.

Please advise!

You will need whatever you mentioned plus the proof of 12 months residency. I don't think you can pay with a cc.

#1 Don't expect anyone to keep track of you between threads. [I just hit the What's New button and got two pages of spam posts by some twit trying to sell some drug.]

#2 Read and comply with the form instructions. You got asylum, the hard part is over.

Hi there, did you actually have to fill out an i-693? Or did you just submit a yellow and pink examination slip? Thanks!

I never got any slips from the doctor. I filled my part on the I-693 and the doctor filled his part after the results were in. I then requested a copy for my personal file. After he made me a copy, he put the originals in an envelope and sealed it and told me not to open it otherwise, USCIS will tell you to do the medical again. So no I did not have or was given any slips.
