Hi,
I485 Applied 06/15 - Not recieved any Reciepts- Is This Normal?
Checks are not encashed by VSC yet...
Appreciate any inputs.

It s not normal. They have to send receipt notices.

If you have sent personal checks for fees. You can check with your bank whether checks got collected. IF yes, You can see LIN Nos on back side of the check.
 
Thanks ss_guy. The Checks are not encashed yet. Is there any way to find out what happened to my application??
 
VSC normally cash the checks in 7-10 days, one of my friend sent I-485 on June 26, his check was cashed on July 4 and got the receipt on July 7th, check with your lawyer, he/she may have sent it late
 
My application was delivered to VSC on 06/18/2003 according to Airborne tracking system. Can anyone suggest my next steps?? Will appreciate any inputs..

How long does it take these days to get a receipt notice for I-485 filing? I mailed my application on June 24th with I-140 receipt number and have not received RD for my I-485?
