i485 apllied 2 months, i765 applied- company getting reorganized into 3 divisions

Hello,

I have applied for I485, I765.... for about 2 months now.
my company is reorganizing into divisions. I have the same
position, job. the company name is changing.

my questions are
1. what will be the affect on I485
2. I have not completed 180 days
3. how can i use the EAD
4. Can i ask the employer to not revoke I140 to keep the GC process going.
5. what are the options to go into safe zone

any help and ideas are welcome

When did you apply your I-485? Is i-140 is approved? Please provide the dates which will help people to think.

My I 140 was approved about feb 12 2002 . was waiting for
spouse to join before i started I485.

I485 was filed aug 6 2003
I765 was filed aug 6 2003

What are the steps i should take
what can i request the employer to do

I140 was approved about an year back,
applied for ead and I485 in august. company name has changed, same job, same position.

File i140 amendment, after I140 amendment approval, your 485 should progress smoothly. I would suggest 6 months after 140 amendment approval (although 485 RD is the operative date) as the safe zone..
