Hi experts,

I have filed my and my wife I485, I765 on 2nd July 2007. My wife got job on EAD. I have to move to her place due to personal reason. But, employer won't agree to leave present job (employer is vendor for client) or they don't agree to let me go out and find job for myself on EAD. But after reading some threads in this forum, i understand that i can work on EAD after 180days of I485 filing. In this case what kind problems will occur in future and give me some suggestions.

1. Do I need to inform USCIS regarding my job change. Of course, I will submit AR-11(Change of Address).
2. Is it mandatory to work on the same skill set. I think it is OK, If I don't inform USCIS.
3. Is it possible to work outside for couple of months and go back GC sponcer company.
4. Is Sponcer have any control to cancel my GC process. If i leave even if they don't agree to go out after 3 to 4 time discussons.

Experts, Please help me with your suggestions.

Thanks

1. Do I need to inform USCIS regarding my job change. Of course, I will submit AR-11(Change of Address). Yes, you have to inform the USCIS with job change
2. Is it mandatory to work on the same skill set. I think it is OK, If I don't inform USCIS. You should be in similar work skill and inform USCIS
3. Is it possible to work outside for couple of months and go back GC sponcer company. Possible but risky
4. Is Sponcer have any control to cancel my GC process. If i leave even if they don't agree to go out after 3 to 4 time discussons. He has the right to inform the USCIS and the latter has the control to cancel or approve your application

1. Do I need to inform USCIS regarding my job change.

No.

2. Is it mandatory to work on the same skill set.

If you want AC21 portability, your job needs to be "same or similar".

Is it possible to work outside for couple of months and go back GC sponcer company.

Sure.

Is Sponcer have any control to cancel my GC process. If i leave even if they don't agree to go out after 3 to 4 time discussons.

After 180 days, if you are employed in "same or similar" job, you are fine.

What are the right ways to leave from that company? really, I am in desperate position. Because, I have to go out otherwise I have to go to new employer on H1(then my wife will lose the job which she got on EAD). Suggestions please.

Thank You very much TheRealCanadian. I am relaxed with your response. So, I can resign and go out with EAD. How about G-28, which I signed when I was filing I485. Do I need to call lawyer and inform about my situation because he will receive all kind of RFE's and other info from USCIS. Employer can do anything with help of Lawyer right !!.
What kind of RFE's i can expect from USCIS? At that time, How can I deal with my employer. Your help really appreciated.

Thanks
