I40/CP cases

Hi,
After reading all the dicussions, I got a bit confuses about what NVC is going to do with the I40/CP cases? Will it be faster since the I140/I1485 concurrent cases will not be adjusted until the priority date. I happen to see some cases file in the same day (04/13/2004) like me got approved. From the data, it looks like the i140 speed up. Are they I140/CP, or I140/485 concurrent, or what else?

I can't believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello All, this is my first posting in this thread. My notice date for I-140 is 04/22/2004 and my attorney recieved the approval notice today and it was approved on 05/10/2004. I can't believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I applied in EB3-RIR and opted for CP. I hope you guys recieve fast approvals too :) If you want more info, I'll be glad to share the deatils if you send me a PM.

Can you please tell me what are the advantages of going for CP? I am not aware of CP at all. So what do I have to do differently to go for CP? Please let me know as much as you know about CP.

I recive the RFE on 05/14/02 for my I-140 (EB3, non-concurrent, and CP), which was filed in on 04/13/04.

What is the RFE about? how long it took for you to get the recipt from INS?

I got the paper notificaiton today. The INS is asking for the "evdince of the ability to pay", and my W-2 and tax return. Good luck !!!

That is ok,INS generally ask for all those details.
I filed my case on May 7th but I gave all of my tax details, w2 for last 3 years to my lawyer, also the employer also gave his financial detail for last 3 year. Do you know what is your receipt date for filing I140?

Hi spb999,

My lin # is "Lin-04-137-53XXX", and the RD is the same day as ND on 04/13/04.

I got a RFE ND on 05/14/04 and received the paper noticfication on 05/2104.

When you filed ur I140 papers in april, did ur lawyer never asked you ur tax,w2 papers for filing I140. This is very important now a days.

my lawer didn't ask me to provide the w2, tax return when submited the I-140.

I got a question about the tax return since the INS request it in my RFE...I am not sure what they are looking for? do they need to see my 1040 form? For the W-2, I can understand, but for the tax return..no idea so far.

Other than the W-2 and tax return, what else that I need to submit when replying the RFE? do you also have any idea how soon I can see the INS approve my case?

I-140 denied

Hi

I need some information about the I-140.

I have applied for labor.While applying for labor in the petition it was mentioned that MS is required and major field is computer related.
I have BS in Mech Engg from Nagpur University and MS in Production Engg from REC, India. I have served fro almost 12 yrs in a educational institue before I came here. During this time I was a part of team which undertook software consultancy projects.

It was approved I applied for I-140 and I-485. Then a query was issued asking for company information and education evaluation, which was submitted. Education evaluation submitted indicates my experience and also states that i have BS and MS.

Then recently I got a notice a notice from INS stating that my I-140 is rejected since my education evaluation does not talk about my MS and it is not computer related. However I was given a chance to appeal within 30 days.

I would like to know what can be done.

Your suggestions are highly appreciated.

I got my EAD and FP was done mid may.
I am waiting for I 140 / 485 approval

Since my application is being processed as per Fuji ohata memo my I 140 / 485 should be processed around the same time.

Can any one tell me if my assumption is correct. ?? Is there any one else whose case is similar to mine ?

INS is asking a copy of my 2002 and 2003 income tax return and W-2 wage earning statements. Also submit a copy of my most recent pay voucher.

my lawywer asked me 2001,2002,2003 w2, tax return papers ,company financial paper which they got from employer directly. I sent my 2001,2002,2003 w2, tax return paper copy to lawyer before filing I140 CP option in EB2 Category. But I dont remember whether my lawyer asked for recent pay stub of mine. Did they asked you recent pay stub in the RFE? Please let me know.
