I did my finger print on the same day as yours. What is your EB category? My PD is Feb 2002. So as will_get_there mentioned we should expect some movement based on the lastest changes sometime this quarter.
Few minutes back, I got RFE (email notice) on my and wife's I-485.
I have not submitted medical report along with my wife's application because she was pregnant, that may be RFE for her I485.
But, I don't know what is my RFE is about.
Can anybody has any idea what it could be?
How long it may take to get the notice in my hand?
Please let me know.

it is a good sign, since they are working on your case. No matter what kind of RFE, it will be approved soon I think
Did you just send the renew application (2nd) EAD and AP recently? Did you get approval yet?
your message gave me some hope that they might still work on the cases that were approved 140 around christmas time and try to approve i-485, I might be wrong though, Let us hope and pray...
Got an email late yesterday from USCIS acknowledging my attorney's response to RFE. I'm praying that they will continue processing my case though my PD is after Jan. 2002.
My I-140 was approved on Dec-21-2004. I feel my I-485 was not approved at the same time because of my PD which is Mar-2003. I have applied for my EAD in Nov first week and no news yet.
I am surprized and happy that TSC is processing Dec-2002 cases now according to AILA.
I am hoping against hope that retrogression will not affect the normal processing that much.
Still I didn’t block the slot, I am waiting for the document from the lawyer. My Q is, is it a must to get it stamped in the passport to get the G Plastic Card?
Yes it is must to get the PP stamped to get the plastic. Stamping is a sign that you haven't abandoned the GC process and left for your country. Only children under age 14 are not required to get the stamp...
Only when you get the stamp the card will be ordered for you so go ahead...
GCxyz,
They have requested for photocopies of my passport, I-94 and I-797 notice of action. These were the same documents included when my I-485 application was submitted.
