Hi
I am in the process of applying for I131 re-entry permit.
As per the form available at USCIS website
1) 170$ is the fee
2) Photos needs to be taken side ways

I saw it somewhere, it says fees is 200$ and photod needs to be taken
front facing.

Please help in clearing this confusion.

Thanks

USCIS ANNOUNCES CHANGE IN PHOTO STANDARD TO TAKE EFFECT AUGUST August 2ND, 2004
Washington, DC – In accordance with language specified in the Border Security Act of 2003, U.S.
Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) today announced a change in the photo requirements for all
applicants from a three-quarter face position to a standard, full frontal face position to take effect August 2,
2004.

voldemarv... thanks for the clarification.

However, the form I-131 I linked to is effective April 1 of 2005 (after the date of the announcement you linked to). So, here is CIS contradicting itself by putting out that announcement but not updating the forms. Incidentally, the form I-485 for example is updated (photos for this one are full frontal).

So, as with many things related to USCIS it is unclear, nobody knows, there's no one in the official establishment to ask, etc.
