is it normal that they did not keep the FP notice, they put a stamp and gave it back to me.
is this normal
 
Yep that's normal, they don't keep it, they stamp it and give it back to you at the end of the fingerprinting appt.

Yes normal. Keep it with you for records.
You can call FBI to find out if your finger prints were received by them and processed, and results sent back to USCIS. Wait a day or two and call them. Call FBI at 304-625-5590. You will need to give either your A-number or your case number.
 
Yes Alfredo now wait for the Yellow Letter that is going to ask you what to bring to the interview (Driver's License, etc) and the Interview letter.....so just wait and check your mail every day haha!

Yep. nothing to do right now, but hope your fingerprint results were good.

Just wait for the interview letter. You will probably receive two separate letters. 1) Yellow letter (instructions on what documents to bring to the interview). 2) interview appointment letter (indicating where and date/time, reschedule if you can't make it).

Fredo,

Just for consolation, I did my walk-in FP on Saturday, 8/29/09 and I just spoke to the customer service reps at the FBI headquarters and she told me that they received my FP on that same day in the afternoon and processed them on the same day. She has both the good news and bad ones. :cool:

The good news were that it cleared with no problems. She told me that all my criminal recors and background were sealed by a presidential order and the results showed "NO HITS" and was send to the immigration on the same day. :p

The bad news were that it was up to the immigration now to finish their job on my petition now that the FBI fulfilled their obligations. :eek: I cried when she told me that...:confused:
