our case goes 10 years back, my mom was denied a visa due to two shiplifting in 94, 96. we filed an motion which took 4 years for them to respond, to get to the interveiw and by denied again. So on August 15, 07 we put together a waiver and a motion to reopen along with form i-485. I was thinking to myself that we have to wait another 4years, but to my surprised...i got a interview letter on Feb 20,07.
We went on my interview today, which we were late getting to. The interviewing office was really nice, he ask my mom where we live, where and what work she does, and if she was ever arrested. My mom told him yes, he then ask her for the reason. He later commented that her arrest happened a long time ago, then he ask me if i was a UCS. After checking off his list he took my mom passport and wrote inside PENDING i-485 see 245 and his name.
To shorten our story do you guys think that we got a green card.
we still have not heard anything of the waiver, I'm now hoping for my mom to get her GC in the mail, God bless you all.
