I overstayed on my tourist visa by 11months (not by choice, for my safety as my family were tryin to hurt me cuz i shamed them by coming out of the closet), i spoke to so many immigration lawyers and all they could tell me was to either get married to a usa citizen, or go back to england. In the end i'd had enough and came back to england. I want to go back to america because my partner is there, but i dont want to be illegal, ive been told im banned for 3years, is this true?
