I need Help!

Immigration has been a worst experience for me. Its pretty pathetic.
here is my situation:
Applied for permanent residence in june 2001,
Did my biometrics twice and sent bio, medical history etc in 2005.
I had put many many Inquiries to USCIS. The only thing in recieved from them is to wait for 90 days or call USCIS after that... all that blah blah blah.

Then i wrote to my Congresswomen. They found out that my case has been cleared from security check.
So at this point my Biometrics was expired and i did my biometric 3rd time in may 07. My congresswomen is keeping track(i hope so) every month.

But all i hear from USCIS is that your case is pending/resumed. So please wait 60 days.

And my online status is the same as it was 2 years ago when they received my medical history.

Now i dont know, who to contact, where to call. or just leave this country.
I need help here....

I think you need to be patient.. I know of some people who never got their asylum approved and they are still waiting for approval.. Be patient , i sure it will come when you dont even expect.

Hi Lost_in_NCS,

I am sorry to hear that you haven't gotten approved after all these years. You are one of the unlucky ones who got "forgotten", but don't lose hope. I am sure you will get it soon.

What I recommend you do, in addition to what you are doing with your congressman, is to email them at NSCLawsuit.Asylum@dhs.gov. You should send an email with your plea to that email account and hopefully, they will respond. I did that myself and got the approval soon after that. In my email, I just asked them nicely to help me with my case. I told them a little bit about my timeline. Just be polite and explain your situation.

In my opinion, if the person reading the emails have any power to review and approve your case, then the nicer you are the better they will help you.

I forgot how many but there are quite a few people on this forum, who got approved by doing this. Good luck and don't lose hope!
