I just received email from USICS about my wifes and my case, it is as below,
Hope this means GC is approved.

Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production

On December 29, 2010, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Your Priority Date was/is current so, a visa was available to grant you LPR status. Sounds very promising.
 
I had an interview on 25th october, and officer had taken signature on white paper, and had said depends on visa number,
What else confirmation do i get from USCIS other then this email, or should i have to wait for the physical GC to arrive at home????

Just wait for the Card. you may also get welcome notice in the mail.
