i have questions regarding n 400 application

Hello everyone,

help understand/locate this statement:
"If you answer “Yes” to any of Questions 1 through 15 in Part 7 of form N-400, send:
A written explanation on a separate sheet of paper.

If you answer “No” to any of Questions 1 through 5 in Part 8 of form N-400, send:
A written explanation on a separate sheet of paper.
"
I can't find numbers 1-15 in part 7 or 1-5 in part 8, there are no (yes, no) questions there

My second question, where should I send my n400 application or where is everyone sending it to, they listed two addresses
1- USCIS
P.O. Box 299026
Lewisville, TX 75029

2- For express/courier deliveries, use:
USCIS
Attn: N-400
2501 S State Hwy 121, Bldg. #4
Lewisville, TX 75067

Yes/no questions are in section 10 in N-400 application form. Checklist shown in the guide to naturalization incorrectly identify these questions. Looks like the checklist had not been updated for quite some time.

If you are sending by USPS regular mail use the PO box address. If you use UPS/Fedex use the street address.

This should read:

"If you answered “Yes” to any of Questions 1 through 14 in Part 10 of form N-400, attach:
A written explanation on a separate sheet of paper. Your written explanation should (1) explain why your answer was ''Yes'' and (2) provide any additional information that helps to explain your answer.

This should read:

If you answer “No” to any of Questions 34 through 39 in Part 10 of form N-400, attach:
(1) your written explanation why theanswer was ''No'' and (2) any additional information or documentation that helps to explain your answer."

Use the address based on your mode of delivery (regular mail vs courier)
 
How do they define excluded?

My wife was denied a visa because of an overstay. She stayed out for the ten years and now has a green card and has been a resident for 3 years. In her citizenship application should she list(denial of a visa because of the overstay) this where they ask if you were ever excluded from the US?
