my brother received his GC 2 MONTHS AGO,

he obtained his GC through marriage,

he received his card with an error on the card,
they put female instead of male on the card,

he filed for i 90 , his application transferred to nebrasca center,

my question is , can he leave the country with a card that has an error,

the second question is, if he go to ins office can he get a stamp on his passport a resident stamp that allow him to leave the country

No! I would suggest to correct the error before leaving.

I concur. My friend had a problem with that when he tried to leave the country with the same error, they wouldn't let him travel. He had to change it to male, but it took CIS six months to correct it.

I'd travel

I would travel if I were him, if the name, picture and date of birth is ok it is gonna be obvious for the officer in the port of entry that this is just a mistake. travel and then fix it.

Your friend can travel. No problem about this. He's a US PR.It's an error and IO at port of entry is not gonna let him in trouble.Big deal is about name and Picture. The rest is small thing.Your friend may also dress as a girl and gets some makeover, than he's gonna look like a gay. This option may help.
