I got my approval today

so the story goes.... I waited for my AS for 4 years.
I was sick of the waiting and did not care to apply
for GC. Until a year ago, I finally decided to give a try.
BUMM.. GC in less then 10 months. I guess God is fair.

I think you did yourself a favor by applying late for your GC. I have noticed people who applied for their GC this year are getting approved in 6-8 months and people who applied in 2005 and 2006 are still waiting for approval. I hope I get approved quickly when I apply for GC next year.

Congrats! i think what mesbahul said is true.i know people who applied for their GC in 05/06 and they are still waiting,while i applied in Jan of this year and got my GC in under 6 months!

Thanks guys. NewJ, I did nothing not even a fart although I had a lawyer and sent my medical with my app. But there had been no single update whatsoever. And honestly, I did not care either. Sometime, you just have to let go the things that you have no control of.
