I Got It!!!!!!!!!

sorry i was so excited, yes my interview is june 12 at 1:40, a thursday which means no oath for me but oh well. one thing that's interesting the letter says request for applicant to appear for naturalization initial interview. what does this initial mean? oh no, too many interviews?

The "initial interview" is standard text that's printed on every IL. Don't worry about it!:)
 
Congratulations! what is your district office? When did you file your N-400 applications?

DO BALTIMORE
PD: DEC. 19TH, 2007
FD: FEB 13, 2008
name and background check cleared FEB. 18TH (put in line for interview)
IL date: june 12th, 2008 at 1:40
UNTIL THEN I AM HAPPY, NO MONTHLY MOOD SWINGS :)
 
Congratulations again! my timeframe is similar to yours. My DO is also Baltimore office. I spoke to the customer service before you got IL. heh.. my case is being opened and reviewed. I expect to receive IL anytime soon.

They actually said that your case is being opened and reviewed? This is the first time I'm hearing something like that. I wonder if it's something they actually do, or just the IO making things up again.
 
man, somebody say, do i need a selective service letter? i am a woman :) i have never understood this

i am just going nuts right about now. my mind going in one bazillion directions. want to book our trip for first week of july giving the oath to take place within 2 weeks. i will beg to the fullest to have this done. i'd like to celebrate my girls' b-day with my family.
uh, yeah, i forgot, i need to prepare for the test :0.
