When I applied asylum, I was in status. I was eventually denied for my application. Now I am out of status. How can I go to the court? Thanks.

My lawyer told me to reapply for asylum through the asylum office and let them know I am out of status. Is this the only way to do it? Pls help. I am so sad and distressed now.

Did you get it in writing? Were you referred to Immigration Court? What did they tell you in the written decision about your options?

They give me ridiculous reasons for refusing me. They said all my fear was just speculative. I wrote a letter to the Asylum Office asking for referral. My lawyer said the asylum office did not always refer case to the immigration court. I am not sure what to do now. I am so pissed.
