Remember Vioxx? Well, it was proven to take good care of various pains people experienced, but the heart attack data was ignore because the senior mgt didn't want to create any issues by informing the FDA. As a result, they collected billions of $$$ from people who were now depended on this drug, until the data started screaming from the graves of dead people. What happened, your beloved FDA pulled the drugs from the market, proceeded to visit gravesite across the country raising people from the dead, not every dead person, only those who were killed by Vioxx cause Merck did perform miracles...:rolleyes:

Last I checked, Vioxx was proven to save lives, and now Gardisil is been seen as a savior and protector against HPV? If your wife ( any woman for that matter) doesn't get "humped" by every Tom, Dick and Dave, there is no need to worry about this stupid disease...:rolleyes: Are they going to start requiring people to arrive in the US wearing condoms, because they can protect against HIV? Didn't we learn that it was an STD? Oh...condoms have been proven to protect against HIV? :eek: Well, I don't screw every Mary, Madonna and Jeanette who comes to my office, because my morals are impeccable and I can only afford to sleep with my wife. :D FDA isn't a govt agency, private corporation with public officials....;) We are forcing women to get this shot to protect against this HPV, but we see women smoking every day, when are we going to pass a law to ban them from smoking as it causes cancer, and they have to worry about breast cancer in addition to this HPV? :confused: Personal note, when my son was born, on the day we were leaving the hospital, his dr asked us if he can give him his vaccination and FLU shots, and I said absolutely NOT!!! He tried to convince me and I said Dr, I told you NO and I don't need any literature from drug dealers. One requirement of discharge from hospital after your wife gives birth, your newborn is required to be seen by a peditrician within a week of discharge or the hospital won't release you to go home...:eek: His new pediatrician tried to convince me to give him shots, and I refused and my son is the healthiest person you will ever meet. He will be a year on Monday, can't complain cause he doesn't need poison you ask me.:( My rabbi is convincing me to give him the shots, torah places great emphasis on the value of life. So, I might change my mind or give him the shot in Jesuralem in December...:D

I know someone else mentioned this on this thread. While I agree that this is a sensitive and personal issue, I wouldn't trust this website more than the National Enquirer. The CDC or any other leading medical journal has no scientifically validated study that has reported any result that links deaths to the vaccine. I did forward this to a colleague who is a senior researcher in a leading hospital to get his perspective.

I am not discounting your apprehension to taking the shot or your fear of the side effects. But as long as there isnt medical/scientific evidence that proves to be contradictory it would be difficult for you to make a serious argument in a court of law (let alone an immigration officer). I am just stating the facts. I am not a lawyer (or a medical doctor), but I have been working in science/academia for a while.

Like I mentioned earlier, your options, I think, are limited to making a case that you need a waiver. Providing "non-scientific" evidence wont tantamount to anything besides increasing your worries or in the worst case, a "judgment bias" about the vaccines. I would suggest you talk to a lawyer (to find your options for a medical waiver) and a civil surgeon.
 
i think u should read a little bit more, go to CDC and FDA official site. 40 deths already reported...and who knows if this is the real number a all.
how can 17 years old healthy girl die suddenly after gardasil and after authopsy nobody knows whats the problem.it was just a miracle,the same with many others?C`mon now!!!

Yes,gardasil is safe ,although there r 40 death reports confirmed,(who know how many unconfirmed) and 700 serious consiquences...but anyway its safe.the government says so....

I never said it was safe or that anyone who takes the shot will have no side effects. I am not advocating you take the shot either. All I am saying is this, there is absolutely NO proven causal evidence (please point me to the appropriate references if you know otherwise) that shows that adverse events (including deaths) are directly related to the gardasil vaccine. Could there be a relation? Sure, but at the moment there isn't anything that proves the contrary. No one is going to vouch that any vaccine is 100% safe, but taking a vaccine is completely your choice. Making blanket statements (and judgments) about the proven unsafeness of a vaccine is not very prudent.

Also, about the 44 deaths reported on the CDC website. Please read the whole information (not what you are looking for). Here is the whole note: "As of September 1, 2009, there have been 44 U.S. reports of death among females who have received the vaccine. Twenty seven of these reports have been confirmed and 17 remain unconfirmed due to no identifiable patient information in the report such as a name and contact information to confirm the report. Confirmed reports are those that scientists have followed up on and have verified the claim. In the 27 reports confirmed, there was no unusual pattern or clustering to the deaths that would suggest that they were caused by the vaccine." Is there something wrong? Possibly. Can you say for sure? Absolutely Not. One last thing, I have NO vested interest in this issue besides being an immigrant going through "similar" immigration procedures. The opinions I give are mine only.

I am serious about the dangers of these drugs, but I often hear people says take viagra to enhance their sex lives. What happenes if you die after having an erection lasting for 4 hours, no big deal, because at least you died happy....:D Worst of all, you will die four hours later, whereas your wife has been sleeping 45 minutes after the first rodeo, so you will be dead alone and happy...:cool:

Just follow the posting by the OP, she has links to sites that chronicles all the dangers posed by Gardsil. So, just used this search terms "Gardisil side effects" and you will pull down 137000 hits on this issue.
 
I understand why you don't want that Gardasil vaccine and you are right not to accept it. It is dangerous and like all other vaccines, manufactured by the drug companies just to make money. ( I am not having my children vaccinated with all those vaccines that cause autism) And the H1N1 vaccine has also been created just so the drug companies can make profits.) Anyway, I don't know how old you are but, if the worst comes to the worst, just wait until you are over 26 and cannot have it. Your health is more important and you are justified to refuse it.

I did not have any vaccination records with me when I came to the US and I had my doctor do blood tests to verify that I was vaccinated as a child. NO way am I having any more vaccines in my body.

Good luck and follow your gut instincts about this vaccine. It is dangerous and not worth it.
