hi everyone,
i applied for AOS, with employment authorization an i-485/i-130 2 weeks ago ...got a couple of responses in mail after 8 days saying i should get a letter for finger printing..and stuff.

I am on f-1 and i am doing my masters, i messed up last semester and got a F in one of these classes college sends me a letter saying that because of my gpa they will dismiss me and end the i-20. in 2 weeks. They said i can appeal the decision but i need to skip the summer session, (by skipping summer session i will be out of status).

i am waiting for my finger printing letter and work authorization. I am married to a citizen for about 5 months.

My question is would i get into any trouble? college letter said i would have to go back to my home country and etc ..which is retarded ...i do want to complete my education but i am honestly tired of paying so much school fees and do i at my own pace. thanks guys

Ignore the letter. Your pending I-485 keeps you legal in the US.

I agree with Canadian. As long as you were "on status" when the I-485 was filed you are fine. Now you may consider taking fewer credits and with a lighter load you may do better on your courses.

Thanks! guys i was getting worried i hate how schools bully F-1 Students and treats them somehow inferior-

Yeah that's right. Here we call the international office the "gestapo" office, but ultimately they are just doing their job making sure everything runs smoothly so I understand why they can be pain in the neck sometimes.

just an update- i got my finger printing letter yesterday, for aos and employment authorization.
