hi wbh, out of curiosity, are they allowed to get married? is there no age restriction for marriage in US?

Most states allow marriage for 16 and 17 year olds if there is parental consent. A few will allow as young as 13 or 14.

Remember that you must be married for 3 FULL years before you apply. If, 90 days before you meet the requirements, you have not been married for 3 full years, then you CANNOT apply until the 3 year anniversary has passed.
