I am coming to state...when will i can get RTD?

I would like to know about refugee travel documents. I am coming to state on 22th of next month as I approached as Asylee via ICMC. So, when will I can get Refugee Travel Document when I arrived at State. how long should I wait for?

correct me if I am wrong, I am very new to this forum.

You have to apply once you're in the country using Form I-131. It takes almost 10 months to get one at this time because there are a lot of applicants. The RTD lasts for 1 year only (yes, really!). It costs almost $400. If you have an emergency situation, you can write a letter indicating a reason, and, if you're lucky, you can get an RTD within a month. Good luck.
