I-94 without "Admitted until" date

I have a multi B1/B2 10 years visa.
Have been in US a lot of times and all the time got a six months period of stay in I-94.
On the 23Sep2007 I entered US and got I-94 with the 23Sep2007 stamp in it.
The stamp by itself is absolutely the same as the stamp in the passport. There is even NO "Admitted Until" line, only "Admitted".
I didn't realize this immediately and that's why didn't ask the officer.
Can somebody advise what does it mean and what is the legal period of stay in this case ?

Yes, I called to the CBP and they said that it seems like officer forgot to put the "Until" date. Even can't imagine how this could happened :eek:
So, now I have to go to local CBP office.
