Hi, all,

I got a problem with my I-94.

I got the original I-94 when entering US from Vancouver under H1B status in 2001. In the end of 2002, my status changed to H4 and the petition was approved. But the attorney,who filed my H4 petition, mis-typed my I-94 # by one digit, and the INS didn't notice that. So now the I-94 # in my H4 approval notice is different from my original I-94 #.

Now I am filing 485. Which I-94 # should I use? Whether I should contact INS to correct the I-94 # and how?

Use the latest I94.
You can also go to the nearest ASC and file i102 to fix the I94.
You can also go to a port of entry and ask for a new I94 if you have a valid H4 stamp in passport.
