I-94 extension approved...what to give to Airline..

Bottom of the approval letter has the I-94 info.

Left bottom says... Detach this for Personal records that has the extended date.
Right bottom is the one that looks like the original I-94 BUT it does not have the date stamped.

So what to give? I also have the original ..so should both be given?

i just returned a month ago after staying within my extended date of stay. I gave at POE the right side portion where no date was mentioned along with the old I 94 card and retained the left side portion which says " This half for personal records"
I have kept in my file the boarding pass and the airline ticket for any future reference.
The serial no of old I 94 and the new I 94 is the same.
