Hi,

Recently somebody told me that everytime I leave country after changing an employer I need to explicitly submit my I-94 that I get along with my H1-visa approval to INS by post. If not this will invalidate my H1- visa and when I comeback at the port of entry INS will not allow me to come in. Is this true?
 
You have to surrender I-94 when you depart the US at airport counter.
If you didnot surrender, it won't invalidate your H1, but CIS system shows that you might be overstaying as there is no departure record.
