I-94 card and EAD

I badly need your advice!

Our I485 is pending. My husband is working using EAD. The I-94 he has right now will expire in March, 2007 (which was based on H4). Does he need to extend his I-94 before its expiration or there is NO need to extend since we are under the adjustment of status? Thank you very much for any suggestion you may have!

------------no need as his AOS is pending. apply his EAD renewal 6 months advance of EAD expiry date so that he gets next EAD on time

Your husband does not need to renew his I-94 since he's working on EAD, he's no longer on the visa related to the I-94.

If he needs to travel outside of the US, he will need AP.

So, by having an EAD but no VISA like an H1 (died on AC21), all we need to get back and forth from Canada is AP and no I-94? Why don't we need an Arrival/Departure record for AP?

I have never applied for AP so don't know what is need to document the arrival/departure on AP. somebody with AP experience should be able to answer.

I assume the I-94 in question was not AP related but visa related.
