Hello,

Thank you for reading my post. I have to apply for removal of conditions this year and was wondering if anyone from North Carolina has been involved with immigration. Do they have offices in Charlotte NC ( where we currently live?) We moved here last year from Boston so I don't know much about this place. I want to be prepared for travelling costs in case we are called for an interview and the capital is three hours drive.

Also, is the second time around less stressful than applying for a green card the first time. I went through "hell" to get my two year green card and the interview was horrible. We were separated and drilled:eek:

You can always check with the state bar association and also check the EOIR website for list of accredited representative and recognized organization AND check out the list of DISCIPLINED practitioners for anyone you consider working with as a lawyer or organization.

As for the I-751, IF you have a solid case on paper (like a child's birth certificate) and joint assets and debts (property ownership, leases, joint taxes etc..) the Service Center might approve the case and waive the interview. It is always on a case-by-case basis.

Good luck.
