I got interview letter for my I 751 with good faith wavier. Even though I expected this interview letter still I am little bit nervous here.

1. What questions to expect?
2. What are my options, if they deny this petition?
3. Anyone with this experience can advice here please?

Indian citizen,

this is a post from another forum, I'm pretty sure it may help you bro. Let us know how your case proceed!

I got to the ASC 45 min before my scheduled time 9am. I had asked my lawyer to be present (not because that I think he helped me but for that extra piece of confidence and support that i was missing) After paying him 750$ he was late for a half an hour and did not show up untill 9 30

I forgot about all the stress and got furious because when you pay someone that kind of money you expect him to be there to help and not just to add more stress to a already stressful situation.
When he arrived i decided not to say anything because if i did i was just going to make the things even more complicated.

I got called in about half an hour after we submitted my notice.

The officer was nice and pretty young that after walking us ,sworn me and asked me to sit. First thing he asked me was if my divorce was final to which i replied yes. Than he asked me for the previous version of my divorce because the final one that he had was a amended one.

I offered him that and he went and made a copy of it. His second question was if i ever had my identity stolen (which i had -my checking account was wiped off) and he asked me for my password confirming that it was me.

Than he asked me about my ex wife, How we met? When did we moved together? when did we get married and divorced. He aslo said that i have plenty of documents and he asked me for joint health insurance to which my lawyer gave him the extra documents we had prepared(probably most of the stuff that was already submitted with my file.)
After looking at that he asked me about my marriage and asked to see pictures from our marriage, I showed them our two albums and also a big stack of pictures that i have brought with me. He seemed to be satisfied with what i had and he gave them back to me.

He than asked me to explain my divorce, why did we divorce and all the details that led to it. After i gave him a short scoop of the whole situation he said that everything looks good.

He proceed with asking me if i have ever had immigration problems before and if I was arrested before to which of course i answered NO and than he said again that he is satisfied with my case and that he is going to approve my application.

When i heard that i felt like a dropped a huge load off my shoulders. He just said that i make sure take everything that i had taken out of my bag and that my green card should arrive pretty soon and if i don't get noting within six mounts to make a inquiry about it.

I Packed all my documents and he escort us back to the door.I was so happy and relieved that i still can not describe it.

You believe there may be reason to deny your I-751?

Triple Citizen,
I already submitted notarized affidavits from 2 of our coworkers who were working at same hospital.
I really don’t like to ask any affidavits from her family.

Do you think I need to take any more notarized affidavits?

Are they worth at interview?

To be honest, affidavits do not carry much weight when compared to other proof of cohabitation, specially financial cohabitation.

Tirple, I see you many times writing the same thing. Would you care elaborate on this subject? why you think Affis dont have any weight? Pretty much everything financial-wise can be cooked up, whether legal way or illegal. You go to Kinkos and made up most financial stuff, no problem, and USCIS is limited with ways of checking stuff up, they would have to have judge approval to check your credit cards, bank statements, etc. Most banks have Immigration Type letter but whats the problem for getting spause name on the account, getting letter and removing her from it? Whats the problem getting taxes done together, etc? I am not encorage anyone to do so, I am jsut saying. Where I do see a problem is providing USCIS with multiple affidavits from friends and family --- how do you suppose to explain and/or train all your friends and family to answer questions brought by USCIS through telephone interview when you marriage is a pure scham??? I cant imagine that!! I think Affidavits ARE very important, most of our friends/family have been contacted by phone by USCIS and I know this part was very important to USCIS. Just wonder here where your opinion comes from??

I never said "any weight", I said "do not carry much weight when compared to other proof of cohabitation". There is a difference. My opinion is based on the understanding that USCIS considers it easier to get friends and family to provide bogus affidavits than getting fraudulent documents proving financial cohabitation. Take the following litmus test. Suppose there are two couples submitting I-751s. One couple supplies just financial cohabitation documents and other couple provides just affidavits from friends and friends. Which couple in your opinion is more likely to get an RFE?

ok the bottom line you look on case from a different perspective than I do. When you provide affidavit, you should always give out phone number to contact affiant. if USCIS call all of nowhere and interview by phone, there may be some credible finding or ommitions, comparing to just looking at a bunch of papers that "do not have a soul, and cannot talk"

You did not take the litmus test I asked for? :)

I know - thats because you request was irrelevant to your own approach, you wrote

"do not carry much weight when compared to other proof of cohabitation"

in your test you dont want to compare documents A with B in a group of C, you just gave me an option A OR B. irrelevant :(

1. Expect everything, from dating period to after marriage. Be well versed with the dates and the events.
2. if its denied then maybe refile/motion to reopen.
