comcast,
thanks for ur comments. The answer to ur remarks are, yes relationship is geniune, filed within two years & no criminal issues at all. the only worry we have is that he is aged out. However, he was under 21 when I filed for asylum. My asylum was approved after enactment of CSPA i.e after 17 Aug 2002. He seems to be eligible for benefit under CSPA.
Since his Bio-3 has been taken & alloted with A# therefore, I am hopefull he will get his approval but it is not guaranteed. That's the primary reason he is still maintaining his F-1 status. I do not know if it is necessery in any way.
I will appreciate ur comments on this strategy we are following.
thankful,
I am really thankful to u for ur comments. Yes, he is single still. Yesterday I got e mail from uscis it states that case is pending for security background check. It is out of processibg time for over a year now.
Any suggestion how I can find out the status of security background check?
Thanks again
There is no news.
I called customer service again and asked them to pass message to NSC about my wife's case. She passed background and fingerprint check, so I do not understand what's the problem with Nebraska Service Center.
Rep on the phone told me that I should get written reply to my request within 60 days.
As soon as I get something, I will post in on the forum.
