I had filed I 140 and 485 concurrently in February 2003.

My I 140 got approved. How much time will it take for I 485 to get approved and getting my green card in hand.

My priority date is June 1999.
 
For CSC, It's safe to assume that it takes at least 16-20 months to process I-485.
They are currently processing some Nov/Dec 01 cases.
 
I came here on a B1/B2 visa and got it changed to H1.
Since I ame here I have not been to India. Now that my I 140 has been approved, can I go to India?
What is the procedure?
 
You need valid Advance Parole or valid H1 Visa in passport to return back to US, if you don’t have H1Visa stamped in passport then you need to get Visa Stamped in PP for return

Do I still need a stamp on my passport on the way back?
 
Change of Job

Please let me know if I change my job after 6 months of getting the I 140 approval, can my existing employer revoke my I 140?
 
It depends on your relationship with your employer and the employer's policy. However, BCIS's new rules on your side.

I 485 processing

Is it true that I 485 processing has been frozen for 2 months by the CSC??
 
Many lawyers posted that I-485 freeze is due to religious workers AOS approval and consulate were also instructed to expedite these cases. If you see the movement of I-485, it has not moved in past 1 year or very slow in all the service centers
