I-485 with amended I-140 - What happens?

I have filed 485/AP/EAD with NSC alongwith an amended I-140 for a company name change. (Same address/business/management, same job description and same designation). In short, everything else is the same.

My RD should be 11/15/02. Neither me nor my attorney have received any intimation whatsoever, although I have seen ND notification postings for RDs later than mine on this forum.

My question is what happens in a case like this. Is the application treated as a fresh I-140? Is there a different adjudication process for this type of a case? Any input is appreciated.

Anxiously,

Rsur

Amendments are not considered as regular 140s. Some sites list processing times of amendments too. I am not sure about whether this is same for NSC.

Even I filed I-140 Amenment for company name change..

Jaxen:

Could you please help me any websites posting I-140 Amendments satus?
I filed I-140 Amendment from VSC on July 15, 2002 just for company name change nothing else..
My lawyer told I-140 Amendment processed as regular I-140..
I am really worrying about this..

I-485 filed 2 months before I-140 Amendment filing

I got receipts for both I-140 Amendment & I-485 filing..

Please help me.. I am loosing sleeep with this delay in the process..

Thanks in Advance

I filed an ammendment I-140 on July-23-02. I'm still waiting for it to process. My understanding from the lawyer is that it does proces the same as a regular I-140. Meaning it all goes in to the same pile. Perhaps once it's assigned to an officer it takes less time as an initial I-140 application.

The concentration in the ammendment is more in proving that it is the same company and job.

If you do happen to find somewhere that the processing times for an ammendment is different, please post the link as I'd be interested in seeing it.

Thanks
