Also how can you find out from these receipts what\'s your priority date and what category you are (EB2, EB3,etc)
 
No idea buddy how to deduce PD and category from the info given on the receipts.

Do u have any knowledge about what is the highest MD which got an EAD approval from VSC.

My priority day is 07/17/00 which emailed to me by my lawyer when my I140 got aproved. Now 485 queue for China is "current", which makes priority day meaningless now: everybody has the same "current" priority. If 485 waiting time for your country is also current, then priority date won\'t be necessary. Don\'t worry, I think it is not a real matter.

I didn\'t get the receipt copy yet, just talked to an IIO at 3:50pm on Friday. She was very nice and told me they sent notice to my lawyer on Sep 29, with RD Aug. 14, it may take 60-90 days after that I probably get my EAD etc. The company lawyer didn\'t tell me she already get the notice, she probably has too many cases at hands to inform me every items she got regards my case. Anyway, I am happy to hear the news, keep our fingers cross in the rest of the process.

According to what I heard PD does matter. If when INS takes (y)our application at that time when our PD is not current they will not work on our application. Anyway glad that they are now working now on Feb 2001 cases. Hope they continue this pace for another 8-12 months at the least. I also heard in this board that they were talking PD retrogess sometime next year. So the best if to keep our fingers crossed till then

You should have got\'n your rcpts by now. Check with your attorney. My MD was August 20 and I got my rcpts on Friday oct 19 and on the same day my checks for INS also cleared and the ND was Oct 15th. So check with your lawyer.

Also anybody, how long does it take for EAD, AP and FP since we started getting receipts I thougt it will be be a good food for thought/discussion

Where is your lawer located? My attorney is in D.C. and my ND is Oct.15 as well. But my lawer hasn\'t received the mail from INS yet.

My attorney is in NJ. Also aren\'t we supposed to get a courtesy copy from INS?

Any thoughts about EAD,AP,FP.

I sent request for copy of the receipt of 485 to my lawyer last week I still didn\'t get the copy. INS won\'t give us a courtesy copy of the receipt. It depends on your company\'s policy on its lawyers, some company allow the lawyers issue it, while some won\'t.

Good luck for all of us waiting. Please keep postin regards AP/EAD.

I think you could either call IIO or wait for a few more days and your checks will be cleared this week. You are almost there and just hang\'n there buddy
