I 485 receipt tracker. August 15 - August 30

Dont know if

country plays any role. But read somewhere in this site that there are two systems that generate FP - Manual and Automatic. Mine I think is automatic since my RD: 8/21/01 and my ND: 10/15/01.

  Also does anyone know how to check the status of our FP by calling the FBI, I mean I want the number for them so I can check with them since INS takes several days to update the system

1. Does the place of our residence (or rather the local INS) make any difference in getting the FP notice earlier/later?

2. Does the AVM change when the FP notice is sent?

1. I dont think so that place of our residence really matters. As I told you its either Automatic or Manual as per what I\'ve read in this site.

2. Yes, the AVM has changed for me that a FP notice was sent out on .....

My cousin red. FP notice Dec 1 . $85 MD July 1st,EAD sep 5th

I am still waiting 485 RD Aug22 . Both are from NJ,
Mine is automatic but what is the diff.

what do you mean by PD:8/16/01. I presume you meant RD

Also any August Filers got approval so far.

so I assumed it was Priority Date..

haven\'t heard anything fr my lawyers yet

few Aug approvals have started coming through from what I gather, which is a good sign

will post, once I hear any news

still not sure if it\'s RD or ND that they go by?
