My friend received I-485 RD ,for Sep 2001 application

Mailing Date :7th Sep 2001
Receipt Date :10th Sep 2001
Notice Date :10th Oct 2001.
He was informed by lawyer : 17th Oct 2001
 
Received Receipts for I-485

sent on 9/05/01.
lawyer informed today by mail.

I have not received any receipts yet. My mailing date was 09/04. Would it make any difference in time to get the receipt, if one is using LIFE 245(i) i.e. I-485 supplement A with the regular 485 application???

I was informed today,i.e. 25th OCt 2001.

I shall have to call my lawyer to find that out,but I have my Receipt Notice from INS,which she (my lawyer) FedExed to me.
And that states 17th Sep 2001.
