I-485 pending, needs to work in India for long time

Hi gurus,

Please help me. This is my situation
Currently my 485 is pending, Working on EAD for a MNC. Now I need go India & work there for atleaset 15 months. Now I have AP too. How can I renew my EAD & AP when I am in India.

Please advise me.
 
HI ,
I am in a same sitation as yours but i am just changing my employer who would put me in india from the start. Please let me know if you have any additional information. I am trying to contact an attorney to get a suggestion.
BTW, if you donot mind responding, is your employer paying you the same salary as in US or less.

If you are planning to go to India for over a year you cannot renew your AP from abroad. I would withdraw your I-485 and then refile when (if?) you return to the US.

how can one re-file 485?
 
You can file for CP instead of AOS if you are going to India for a longer time that for which AP is valid. No EAD/AP renewals are possible from overseas.
