I-485 Intent of Denial

Hi Gurus,

I got an intent of denial RFE for my I-485 stating that I worked more than 180 days with out EAD.

Here is my Scenario.

I have lapses in my EAD for more than 180 days and I was working full time during that time. Now INS has send me an Intent of Denial letter. It was my mistake that I forgot to renew my EAD on time and my Company's HR did not
bother to check on this and I worked all the time.

Is any one there who had a similar situation and how did you respond to that kind of RFE.

How come you work without EAD approval? you are not supposed to work without any authorization.

-They are supposed to send looking at your record
It was my mistake that I forgot to renew my EAD on time
and my Company's HR did not
-----why the company or HR will renew your EAD????

bother to check on this and I worked all the time.
---------------------it was YOUR duty to file EAD 4-5 month advance of EAD expiry date
Is any one there who had a similar situation and how did you respond to that kind of RFE.
