I40 approved after 10 months
After 10 months of waiting, my I40 (EB2-NIW) was approved today. The major reason for the delay was perhaps the transfer of cases from VSC/CSC to the central regions. Needless to say that I am very very very relieved. This site has been a great resource and I wish those people who are waiting all the best with your cases.

waiting for i-140 since march 2004
CSC I-140/485 applied March 2004, then no news till now, 140 upgraded to PP october 10 2006, LUD on 10th and 11th, then there is no news so far...anyone in the same boat ...pls reply.

My I140 was approved yesterday .Got 3 confirmation emails from CRIS.
It took 6 months and 10 days for the approval.I am really relieved. Waiting for the dates for EB2 to be current.

I140 filed in June at TSC, it's been 5 months now, no approval notice yet...Online status indicates that they've got the documents for RFE on July 25th and when we call them they say it's already approved and the approval notice has already been sent out. It's just an unpleasant experience so far...
Will give some more time and contact them again to find out what's going on....

Why not PP
With PP I140s are approved in 7 to 10 days. MIne was approved in 7 days. If you are eligible, why not use PP?

I am also in the same boat. PD - Nov 2000. Category - EB3. Labor Approved Oct - 2005 (After Five Long Years and conuntless RFE's). I-140 Filed Dec 2005. Still Pending.... Intiated Enquiry on 8/10/06. They responded on September 6th Saying "Your case is under review and should receive a decision with in 60 days". Haven't heard anything since then. 12 more days to go....... for 60 days. Totally Frustrated It's been more than 6 years.

My NIW, also received on 04/11/06, is still pending with no news. The center is TSC.

after that nothing. From what i am seeing mostly cases with LUD july 22nd are pending.dont know how to correlate.
My case is with NSC and status does not show any transfer to any service center. does this service center show online and r they sendign letter.

Sure, when you call they ask you wait 30 days and call back if you don't hear anything from them. And 30 days later...they ask you again to wait another 30 days. It goes on and on.

Mine is I140 only filed,EB2 ,using a labor for which my employer revoked a previously filed I140.Receipt date Feb 27th ,2006 and one LUD on Mar 22nd.

My case is also similar to many of you waiting endlessly for I 140. Applied in Sep 05 at VSC with a Labor Copy as substitution in EB2 India category . Got transferred to NSC in May 06 , lost the original Receipt Date . Waiting since then . Not able to place an inquiry as the new Processing Date has not been reached my new Receipt Date . Can not upgrade to PP also. Is there any other thing that can be done for all of us like me ? My guess is , USCIS is waiting from DOL for the original copy of labor . No idea what else is option for me .
