Can I do the following?

I-140 filing in Dec

I-485/EAD/AP filing in March 2004

Can I file EAD for both me and my wife simultaneously? My wife is currently on H4 visa. How long does it take to get the EAD?

After that, can I continue to get H1 extensions (assuming I don't want to use my EAD), and can my wife use EAD and start working on it? Is that possible?

Dear Compudada,

You may fdile the 140 and 485 as you mentioned.
You may file for EAD for you and your spouse simultaneouly.
Generally it takes 90 days after 140 is file to get an EAD.Incase you dont get within that time you may go to the nearest BCIS office and get one
You may continue to work on H1 and your wife may start using EAD ASAp

I filed concurrent filing of I-140/I-485.My question is , DO INS
sends each individual receipts for I-140 and EAD also.

I have the I-140 receipt number , with this number can I check
my EAD status through online ? or I should have a seperate
receipt number for the EAD also.

---- You wrote that you filed I-140 and I-485 did you file for EAD and AP also? If you have filed for EAD and AP you will get receipts for I-140, I-1485, EAD, AP, check with your lawyer.

Dear I have patience,

do you have experience getting a temperary EAD from Local BCIS if I don't receive the eAD card after 90 days of I 485 filing. If I do so, how soon I can get the temperary EAD card from Local BCIS office?

It may depend on which local office you will go. As far as I know you can get iEAD on the same day.
