I-140 approved - what's next?

Hello, all

My I-140 has got approved

My PD is Jan 06. I need the travel parole and EAD so that I can start working. Will I be able to file my I-485 with I131 and EAD application even though my PR is not current?

My lawyer suggested to use Consular Process to apply for my Green Card. Is it really faster than I-485? What are pros and cos of each process.

---------------------if your PD(the date LC filed with DOL) is not current you cant file I-485, EAD AP. if you are on H1 status file H1 extension and you can get 3 year H1 extension based on I-140 approval.

-------------NO, CP processing will be after PD is current and no AC21 or EAD AP for CP processing
What are pros and cos of each process.
------------extend H1 and wait for PD to be current then file I-485

You can apply for H1B if an employee wants to sponsor you H. has nothing to do with I-140 approval at all.
