I-140/485 Applied In December 2004

Could there be an LUD without any change in the status of the application?
if so, why even have an update?

What are the current LC PDs required for I-140, I-485 applications?

Do we apply EAD and AP with I-485 or I-140?

I140/485 : Dec 27 2004
FP Done : Apr 6 2005
LUD : April 16 2005

My LUD for FP is updated.

Next, I have to wait for my wife's FP notice within next 20 days. My case PD is in Dec and currently they are looking October / November cases. If get my Wife's FP soon, then I assume that there is a chance that both our cases will be done simultaneously.

Fingers crossed.

For I - 140 - No LC PD - You can apply now
For I - 485 - EB3 - LC PD should be before June 1, 2002. Others it is current

EAD and AP cannot apply with I 140. It is with I 485

I also had a LUD for 485 on 4/20/05 with out any change in message and no LUD on I-140. seems it indicates some kind of processing (like file has been pulled for further processing ...) on 485 as LUDS are happening in sequence of RDs.
 
FYI... my observations on April LUDs

I am tracking a small sample (about 20)of I-485 applications with a WAC-05-058-xxxx date thru the portfolio of the USCIS website. There have been LUDs on most of these applications in April but mostly no message changes.

On 4/5, all the apps that I had that had not done FP had a LUD. --no message change.
On 4/20, several apps had a LUD. From what I saw, these apps had done FP in Jan -- no message change.
 
LUD on 485 4/20/2005

I got an LUD on 485 on 4/20. Does anyone know what processing is going on ? I would believe that they start working on I140 before working on I485.

My RD 12/29/04 and ND 1/6/2005. My 485's LUD also changes to 4/22/05, though no message change. No news on 140 yet.

I know what was previous messge.When you click on receipt number in your portfolio. Then you can see text.There is no change in that text. Here is what it looks like for me
