My husbands sponsoring for my parent's visitors visa. They have their interview on friday. But today my parents noticed 3 big mistakes in the I-134 affidavit of support that my husband sent..
1. while typing born in he has typed ...BANGALORE (CITY) USA (COUNTRY) INSTEAD OF INDIA(

2. In my mother's I-134 he has typed relation as father-in-law instead of mother-in-law

3. In my father's I-134, my father's name is typed as "Krishna Rama Setty" instead of "Rama Krishna Setty"

Can my parents make the necessary corrections in a pen?? We are not sure bcos it is notarised....

Can we send a scanned I-134(new with corrections and notarised) which my parents can take a print out and take to the consulate??

What do u suggest?

It seems deep down he does not want your folks to visit :)

Seriously, although I do not advocate or encourage the use of I-134s for B-2 visas, I would say that an original I-134 with mistakes is better than a correct/tampered one. The latter may invoke suspicion.

Thanks for your reply triple citizen.

He has emailed a scanned new corrected notarised I-134 to my parents and also a letter to the consulate stating about the un-intentional mistakes made while typing the previous I-134.

Well, as a matter of fact, he is the one who is more keen on getting my parents here, not me. It was just that he was too busy with his research / some chapter deadlines that he had while he got all the necessary visa sponsoring papers ready.

Thanks again, hope things will be fine:)

dost dhushman, do not take seriously about what Triple Citizen has said. Any body who have read your thread would have felt the same. Now that some corrective action has been taken , let them attend the interview. Good luck to them
