I-131 : Should I be worried?

I recently e-filed 765 and 131 simultaneouly and promptly sent supporting documents. I did see LUDs implying they recieved the documents.

I got finger print notice for 765 but not for 131. I thought when I go for 765 finger prints I'll request ASC to get biometrics for 131 too. Unfortunatley they refused. ASC people said, I should get a notice for 131 soon.

I'm not sure if everything is OK. Anybody have similar experience. Should I be worried and start inquiries or just wait for some more time.. It's been only about 2 weeks I applied both.

There is NO bio for 131. You are supposed to send 2 pp size color pics along with supporting docs.

Should I be sending photos even if I have e-filed my 131?
In the receipt I got, it didn't say anything about photos..

Hi,

Pl let me know the supporting documents to be sent to file I131 n I1765. I am paper filing it.

What is the advantage of e-filing compared to paper filing .
 
Oh well.. DSLStart, guess your are right..

I've been issued an RFE today for my 131. Most likely for the missing photos as you mentioned. Still wondering.. why send photos when e-filed that too when we don't do that for EADs. No consistency..:(

Zooni, will post the check-list once I recieve RFE and making sure that it is for photos.
 
I did efiling for 765 and 131. On submission of the docs, i saw the receipt numbers on the screen. Before i could print them, my system got hung and had to restart. So I don't have receipt numbers, and also did not get the PDF. Now I am not sure where to send the supporting docs,photo and how to refer my case to USCIS. I called them and was told to wait for 72 hours. Any one had similar issues/knowledge on this? Thanks.

I have never heard that you need Biometrics if you have a pending 485 and you are applying from the US. Can you elaborate on what you said? Can you send to all of us the documentations?
 
EAD - eflie - bio required
EAD - paper - no bio
AP - paper/efile - no bio

first time paper filed (both EAD & AP), no bio required.
efiled renewal, bio done for EAD not for AP. both my EAD and AP renewals approved.
 
Oh, with a pending 485, I'm not sure. I just meant that they require biometrics for RPs now, but if you're doing something else simultaneously, then maybe not.
