Hi all,

I am a resident filing for my husband. My citizenship is pending. Here is my question.

My husband has not mailed the passport sized picture of himself yet. He is such a procrastinator that i don't want to wait. If i mail it in without the picture, will they reject the application or ask him to take it in whenver he has a date for the embassy? ANyone has experience with this?

Second question. Anyone did the filing and then upgrading once they are a citizen thing? I will update my petition once my citizenship is approved, i am just wondering if that causes any delays/problems? Did anyone go through this?
Any advice is needed. Thank you.

In the best case scenario, they will not deny it and send you a request for further evidence, and you still have to provide the picture within several days anyway. In the worst case - they'll cash the check and deny it. In the neutral outcome case they will simply send the package back to you without cashing the check.
