I am a US resident since 2001. Later, I got married and applied for my wife's GC - I130 (IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE) application on July 25, 2002. Currently, her application is in pending state and according to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services website they are currently processing similar applications filed in August 2000 (California service center).

In July this year our wait will be 3 years. As a result my wife and our baby daughter can not come and live with me in the US. Can anyone recommend me some options to expedite my wife's I130 process or advice me some workarounds to get them to US until the application process completes.

Thank you.

I understand your pain my mother filed my i-130 a couple of years ago and what ive been hearing is that it can take anywhere from a number of 4 to 10 years..

have you considered getting your wife and kid in the us through a student visa or something along that line?

If you become a USC, it will faster your process? How much time do you have left to file for USC?
Same thing is for your mother chills?

If you are citizen you can do Direct Consular filing. If you are from India you have apply at New Delhi (not at any other center.)
Only problem with that is you need to stay for 90 days before applying. This rule was recently introduced.

You can bring them very fast with consular may be within five month

This is applicable for parents and spouse

if i'm not mistaken i've read in the uscis website about fiance or spouse visa that it's already renewed now and so a married couple who want to be together in the US they already made it easier, just please check it out again in the website,it's just renewed since Dec 04.

Even if her I-130 was approved it would do you no good. Since you are not a US citizen, your spouse falls under FB2A and the priority date for this category is August 2000. Does the date look familiar? :)

USCIS is not processing I-130s without a current prioriy date, since if the priority date is not current the alien beneficiary cannot get an immigrant visa to come to the US. you have another 2 or 3 years to wait.
