I-130 petition for wife & mom, need show money or savings?

Hi,

I heard from a friend that I need a show money or savings to be submitted to USCIS when petitioning my wife and mom. Is this true? If yes, how much should I show them?

For the past several months, my bank had an OVERDRAFT due to unexpected circumstances, do you think my bank statement (showing an overdraft) will affect my petition to them?

Its just now that my bank is stable (i got my tax refund that makes it better).

Please advise what to do.

you need to show income sufficient to support them at 125% of poverty level and repay any government benefits they apply for. Read up on I-864 form and look into I-864P for most recent year to see how much you have to show.
 
hey where can i download I-864 form from which site?

and regarding, do you have to have all that cash ammount in your bank account to show or do you only have to show that you do make certain ammount of money yearly?
 
OH YEA BIG THANKS :) if you can't help just dont type anything regarding what i asked, rather then saying

"Jeez! Did you even look or you want everything done for you"

i didn't ask for you to do everything for me, all i wanted is info which i couldn't find on web thats why i had to ask here in so called " forums" thats where you find info and share experinces thats what its made for :D i hope that makes sense :D

oh, please. The first thing that pops up in google when you enter a search term "I-864", is the form on uscis.gov website. Apparently, you have done absolutely NOTHING to find it yourself and expect people to find it for you.

And thank YOU for your very extremely hard work finding the information you need.

Oh comon guys if you can't help dont give me your comments saying that i didn't do nothing to find it on my own. this is really upsetting me.

i agree when you search on google your 1st results will turn out to be usic.gov exactly right, but HEY i am not a big shot like you guys are who knows bunch a tales about immigration get it? when you click on forms there are 4 to 5 different kinds of I-864's dont know which one is for what even if you read info besides that i can't understand because dont know which one will suit for my uncle. like i said earlier i am not into immigration thingy nor knows alot like you guys do, so i belive that is why this forum is made to discuss your personal opinions/and to help others right? if you have difficulty or having hard time helping some one or giving right answers PLEASE DONT MAKE SUCH STATEMENTS when some one is in need of HELP okay and i am totaly disappointed by your remarks. this is not a right way to help others rather then being *rude* asking something doesn't hurt no body:)

If you don't know and need people to help you, you'd better be nice. Nobody is being rude to you. Otherwise no one will spend a minute of their life answering you.. and remember, it's you who doesn't know. Not us.:cool:
